India - Land of Opportunity
India has a population of 1.16 billion people out of a world population of 6.6 billion people. Of that population, 82% are Hindu, 12% Muslim, 2.5% Christian, and 3.5% other religions. It is estimated that 350-400 million people live below the poverty line. 40% are illiterate. It is hard to conceive that so many people can live under a veil of darkness. But all of this emphasizes the great need of laborers for the harvest of the kingdom of God. I call it a land of opportunity because there is such a great need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Join with us to help meet those needs as we take the Gospel to this great land.
Through our donors we were able to buy a water buffalo for the orphanage in Tuni, India which will provide milk and cheese for the children. As a bonus, the water buffalo is pregnant.
