"My beloved spoke, and said to me: ‘Rise up, my love, my fair one,
and come away. For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the
voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth
her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell.
Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!'" (Song of Solomon
2:10-13).
Many of My chosen ones have been in a winter of discontent, cast into
isolation by the fierce winds of opposition as you have tarried for a
season that has not yet arrived. Others have withdrawn into shells of
loneliness to protect your hearts from the rejection of those who do not
understand as you have tried to rise above the mediocrity of the masses.
Some have been trampled underfoot by those content with dancing around
the golden calves made by the hands of men. Others have been silenced by
the voices of misguided authority intent on controlling every word and
every movement. Some have been wounded and bruised by those who have
even eaten at your table but now walk at a distance as from a leper.
Others have been beaten and shipwrecked by seemingly endless trial and
tribulation.
But I would say unto all of you this day, I have felt the pain of your
brokenness and I have heard the cries of your desperate hearts. I have
not forsaken you. I have not utterly cast you off. And I would say unto
you this day, Rise up, My love, My fair one and come away with Me. Come
into the cleft of the Rock where I have prepared a place for you, a
refuge from the storms. Your winter of discontent is over. I am removing
the scourge of affliction from those who will rise up in this hour. The
fiery rain will cease and the mouths of your enemies will be stopped. It
is time to come forth from the prison, from your place of darkness and
the grave and allow Me to bring forth new life. I am lifting you out of
the pit of tumult, out of the miry clay to set you in the Rock. I will
steady your steps and establish your goings to walk upon My high places
once again. I will cause you to take root once again and to blossom
anew. You shall be planted deep by the streams of water that you not be
plucked up again. I am putting a new song in your mouth, even a song of
praise to Your God for the wondrous things He is doing. Many will see
and fear and turn to Me with confidence and trust.
Yes, I am gathering My people out of the flood waters, out of the fiery
furnace that you not be swept away, for it is the time of restoration.
It is time for the fig tree to bud and the vines to bring forth tender
grapes, to bring forth My sweet fragrance in the earth. Even the birds
know their season of migration and the plants of the earth know their
time of springing forth. And will not My people know their appointed
time for coming forth? In an acceptable and favorable time I have heard
you. Put your trust in Me and I will help you. I will keep you and
preserve you to raise up the desolations of a fallen generation. So I
would say to you in this hour, Rise up, My love, My fair one, And come
away.
To those who are bound, I say, Come forth! To those in darkness, I say,
Show yourselves! Come into the light of My presence that you may feed
once more on the mountain of My goodness. Open your hearts once more and
I will heal your brokenness and bind up your wounds. I stand ready to
beat back your adversaries and raise My banner over you. Come forth My
people into the brightness of My presence. I have opened the doors
before you, even the double doors. I have broken the bars of bronze and
cut the gates of brass. Cast off your grave clothes and put on the Lord
Jesus Christ. Step out of your darkness into the light. Move out of your
prison and go through the gates of liberty. I stand at the threshold
ready to receive you and to take you unto Myself. Rise up, My love, My
fair one, And come away.
